Job Description
Duties and responsibilities
Understand the Current Broader Equity Market, Sectoral and stock trends and Create Forward Looking Outlook on them.
Carry out index, sector and stock analysis and come up with investment or trade themes /ideas, and use derivatives in preparation of ideas
Create and maintain databases using data from different sources
To arrive at valuations of Equity and Equity Index based derivatives using derivative pricing models
Formulate and prepare reports for Single and multi leg derivative strategies for bullish, bearish and neutral trade setups
Formulation and preparing reports on option Greek based strategies
Formulate and prepare reports on arbitrage and risk free derivative strategies
Design and update analytical models for derivative analysis
Create new ideas, Conduct research and test them for trade or portfolio based derivative hedge strategies and use quantitative techniques to test and finalize ideas.
Revamp/upgrade existing reports and databases
Identify and communicate the derivative products, strategies and reports to existing internal and external clients
Provide timely, accurate and thorough support to both internal and external clients on derivative related queries
Advice clients on their portfolio for short to long term trades or investments
Develop and maintain a long-term relationship with internal and external clients to maintain a high level of retention of the existing customer and generate business.
Qualifications
Post Graduation degree or Bachelors degree with five years of experience in Financial Markets, or professional degree of CA, ICWA etc.
Skills required
Good problem-solving, logical and analytical skills;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent knowledge of Equities with relevant work experience
Ability to work, and deliver, under pressure
High level of self motivation and must display ability to assume ownership of projects
Very good spreadsheet skills
Willingness to stretch and be proactive
Strong knowledge of fundamentals of derivatives
Prior experience of trading in derivatives in the Indian markets is an advantage but not necessary
